“Pollution outside in nature is mere reflection of pollution inside our heart”
Today news spread faster than the Coronaviruse, and all thanks to technological advances humanity has made. Certainly it makes us more aware.
But, we are bombarded with a lot of information which leaves us wondering about the heck happening to this world. We see news regarding discrimination based on different lines, crimes like child abuse, rape, murder, frauds, economic instability, corruption in politics n administration, inefficient govt, environmental exploitation, and list goes on…
In all this, there is something very common, something very fundamental, causing such havoc, and that is “POLLUTION WITHIN HEART”, which transforms into Lust, Greed, Anger, Envy, Pride etc.
This covid19 has made our river and air clean, but it’s not gonna last, because our approach is not right… We are trying to treat it superficially.
E.g. If there is boil on our body, we can try to cure it, but then another boil will pop up, and will continue to pop up, if we don’t address its root cause, that is blood.
Similarly we can clean all the rivers, ocean, land, air, but we will soon make mess out of it, because root of all these problems are our unclean heart…
Let the govt do their work and we can make sure that they do by asking the right questions. But at the same time we should make sure that we are taking care of our inner cleanness.
Unless we don’t clean our heart, the environment will be mess.
And it’s not one day work, rather a life long project… Day after day, month after month, and year after year, we have to strive to achieve it…
The aim of spirituality, religion, yoga is to clean our heart, so that we make a sacred relationship with environment, people and God.
HUMILITY & GRATITUDE is like that ground on which the seed of CLEAN & SIMPLE HEART can be planted.
